Harmony

Gaussian splats, in harmony with Unreal Engine.

A real-time Gaussian splat renderer that works inside Unreal Engine's pipeline, so captured worlds and native Unreal content blend into one scene. Available now on GitHub.

Harmony: Gaussian splats rendered in Unreal Engine

Captured worlds, real-time

Render high-fidelity splat captures inside Unreal Engine, at interactive frame rates.

Mixed with native content

Splats and Unreal geometry share depth, so vehicles, characters and effects sit inside a captured scene, in front of it or behind it.

Spherical harmonic lighting

View-dependent colour from spherical harmonics, so captures keep their sheen and depth.

Splats and Unreal, together

Harmony is built into Unreal’s rendering pipeline rather than layered on top of it. Splats and native geometry are composited with shared depth, so a vehicle can sit in the middle of a captured street while captured foliage in the foreground still passes in front of it.

Getting it

Harmony is available now on GitHub as pre-compiled binaries for Unreal Engine. It’s closed source, and free to download. A release on Fab is planned.
