Studio

Pixels that won’t sit still.

A pixel on a screen is redrawn sixty times a second. It’s never finished, and neither is the work: we build things that respond, move and play.

About

Restless Pixels is a creative technology studio in Sydney. We make real-time experiences for brands, museums and agencies: interactive installations, kiosks, games and 3D, and increasingly, console-grade graphics that run in the browser.

Our team has more than twenty years of experience across the web, installations and real-time platforms: award-winning sites and games, touring exhibitions, permanent museum installations, and performance-critical rendering in Unreal Engine. We’re engineers who care about design, and we’re at our best where creative ambition meets hard technical constraints.

We also build products of our own: Pando, which brings Unreal Engine to the web, and Harmony, for Gaussian splats in Unreal Engine.

We work directly with clients and alongside agencies, and bring in trusted collaborators when a project needs them.
