GE Innovation Centres
Interactive centres in three countries that tell the story of GE's technology and sustainability work, with touch, projection, RFID, beacons and real-time data.
A series of interactive centres for GE in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Turkey, each showcasing GE’s technology, sustainability work and innovation through digital storytelling, real-time data and physical installations.
Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Arabia Innovation Center explains GE’s role in the country’s energy, healthcare and infrastructure sectors. It spans 12 touchscreen applications and 4 supporting installations, tied together by a shared visual language of floating, physics-driven triangles and built to hold a steady 60 fps. Visitors registered with an RFID card at the entrance, then collected personalised content at each touchpoint, from projection walls to multi-screen information hubs. The Vision2020 and People of the Kingdom pieces used multi-display rear projection for cinematic, large-scale presentations.

Masdar City, Abu Dhabi
The Ecomagination Center in Masdar City showcases sustainability and smart-city innovation. Its centrepiece is the Feature Table: a CNC-milled 3D cityscape on top of an array of 55-inch screens. Visitors trigger eco-friendly scenarios from touchscreen consoles, animation plays beneath the model to light the city up, and edge-blended projection adds context around it. Touchscreen deep dives such as Emerging Trends, Peak Water and Energy Inefficiency sit alongside a crank-powered interactive that turns physical effort into an on-screen demonstration of energy efficiency.

Turkey
In Turkey the focus was a personal, data-driven visit. Each visitor received a tablet, logged in, and collected content by tapping RFID-enabled touchpoints around the centre, while beacon tracking followed their location in real time and adapted the experience to where they stood. Tuning the beacons for accuracy took real work, but the result was a location-aware platform that let visitors shape their own journey and take it with them afterwards.

Key features
RFID-powered visitor journeys
Visitors registered on arrival and received an RFID card that unlocked content, triggered exhibits and collected information as they moved through the centre.
A live data wall
A large Christie MicroTiles stats wall showed real-time data and infographics with physics-based animation.
The Feature Table
A CNC-milled 3D cityscape sitting on an array of 55-inch screens. Animated scenarios played beneath the physical model and lit the city up from below.
Hands-on energy
A crank-powered interactive turned physical effort into on-screen animation, making energy efficiency something you could feel.
Cinematic projection
Multi-display rear projection and edge-blended projection told large-scale stories alongside the interactives.
60 fps everywhere
Every application used GPU-accelerated rendering, so animation stayed smooth and touch stayed instant.
